7 Warm Places in the US to Visit This December

Looking for a winter getaway that doesn’t involve more snow? Check out these warm weather destinations to visit in the United States this December!
1. Charleston, North Carolina
Charleston is affordable, packed with history, and has great food, making it the perfect getaway during the winter months. When you visit, be sure to try the “She Crab Soup”- it’s a local specialty.
2. New Orleans, Louisiana
New Orleans is always an exciting city, no matter the time of year that you visit. Visiting the city in December is the smarter move, as it’s before the crowds hit in February for Mardi Gras.
3. San Antonio, Texas
Whether you’re visiting the Alamo or learning how to be a cowboy/girl in the city that basically invented the term, there’s no shortage of new things to learn in San Antonio.
4. Miami, Florida
If you’re looking for more of a party scene, visit Miami. In what other city can you dance the night away while stuffing yourself with fantastic Cuban food?
5. Las Vegas, Nevada
Grab your closest friends and hit the casinos for a good time. Be sure to walk down the strip and marvel at all the unique hotels while you’re there!
6. San Diego, California
Missing the beach? Then hit San Diego. A relaxed beach town is the perfect place to unwind and reset; however, when lying on the beach, watch out for the sea lions!
7. Honolulu, Hawaii
If you’re itching to really get away, there’s no better place than Hawaii. Catch some great surf or visit some epic volcanoes. The only danger is that you may not want to go back home after your trip.
